My Hippie Trail

My Hippie Trail is a comprehensive online archive of stories and photographs tracing the journey along the iconic hippie trail from 1970s Kassel, Germany to Delhi, India. The brief was to create an illustrated map highlighting the journey’s key anchor points and modes of transport, bridging the two ends of the route while evoking a sense of freedom and adventure. The project also included four accompanying illustrations, conjuring memories of 1970s Istanbul’s iconic Pudding Shop, an unforgettable bus ride through Mashhad, watermelons in Herat, and the daily hustle and bustle of Delhi, our final stop.
